When We See Us: Perspectives with Al-Wadood Suberu

Today, co-founder of Third Culture Kids Al-Wadood Suberu walks us through the paintings that have resonated with him in the When We See Us exhibition at Liljevalchs. Here, he reflects on psychedelic shapes and works that reference his home in Ghana.

In this series of reels, Southnord has invited some of the role models in our Afro-Swedish community to share their thoughts about the works that resonate with them the most in the exhibition. This is the last in a series of reels published throughout the course of the show until it closes on 30 August. Thank you for keeping up with us so far and now you have one more week to see WWSU!
