When We See Us: Perspectives with Niki Tsappos

Today, dancer and choreographer Niki Tsappos walks us through the paintings that have resonated with her in the When We See Us exhibition at Liljevalchs. Here, she reflects on restful colours and the importance of seeing older women in their sensuality. Niki will be hosting a guided tour of the show on 17 May.

In this series of reels, Southnord has invited some of the role models in our Afro-Swedish community to share their thoughts about the works that resonate with them the most in the exhibition. These reels will be published throughout the course of the show until it closes on 30 August 2026.
