When We See Us: Perspectives with Anton Sizwe Isaksson
Today, artist and curator Anton Sizwe Isaksson walks us through the paintings that have resonated with him in the When We See Us exhibition at Liljevalchs. Here, he points out the relationship between art and advertising and how paintings can spark a desire for connection with family.
In this series of reels, Southnord has invited some of the role models in our Afro-Swedish community to share their thoughts about the works that resonate with them the most in the exhibition. These reels will be published throughout the course of the show until it closes on 30 August 2026.
